This bill regulates political contribution activities by intermediaries and requires disclosure of certain identifying information when certain contributions are made by an intermediary to a candidate or a committee. It defines an "intermediary" as an individual, organization, or entity that delivers contributions from another person or solicits contributions to a candidate, authorized committee, or party committee. The bill requires intermediaries to provide the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer information of the contributor, as well as the amount and date of the contribution, to the recipient. It also requires candidates, authorized committees, or party committees to report any intermediary who delivers or solicits contributions totaling $500 or more. Contributions delivered by an intermediary are considered to be from the original contributor, not the intermediary.
