This bill changes provisions relating to the transfer of juvenile cases and the appeal of such transfers. It allows for the immediate appeal of orders granting or denying the transfer of a case from county or district court to juvenile court, and it also allows for the immediate appeal of orders granting or denying the transfer of a case from juvenile court to county or district court. The bill requires these appeals to be expedited, with the Court of Appeals conducting its review in an expedited manner and rendering its judgment and opinion as speedily as possible. During the pendency of any such appeal, the juvenile court may continue to enter temporary orders in the best interests of the juvenile.
