The bill also creates a DWI/sobriety court interlock program that must be certified in the same manner, and allows for the total transfer of a case from one court to another for a defendant's participation in a state-certified treatment court. The bill also makes various other changes to the operation and requirements of drug treatment courts, mental health courts, and veterans treatment courts in Michigan.
