This bill amends Alaska's laws to establish a personnel office within the Legislative Affairs Agency to investigate allegations of discrimination and harassment by members of the legislature or legislative employees. The bill requires the personnel office to investigate such allegations, produce a confidential final report, and initiate a complaint with the Select Committee on Legislative Ethics if the prohibited discrimination is found to have occurred. The bill also amends the Legislative Ethics Act to prohibit legislators and legislative employees from engaging in sexual harassment or other discrimination.
