This bill requires lobbyists in New Mexico to participate in an annual training program of at least three hours to prevent sexual harassment. The bill also amends the definition of "sexual harassment" in the Lobbyist Regulation Act to include conduct that interferes with a person's work or engagement in legislative processes or creates a hostile environment. Additionally, the bill requires lobbyists to affirm that they have undergone the required sexual harassment prevention training when registering with the Secretary of State.
