It directs the Chief Information Officer to consider best practices from other states, work with all Executive branch departments to integrate open data strategies into their existing technology plans, and consult with the Office of Information Practices and other relevant departments. Finally, the resolution requires the Chief Information Officer and the Steering Committee to submit these goals, objectives, and any legislative recommendations to the Legislature by a specific date.
